steering wheel vibraton after market wheels

anybody running hub centric rings on petrol wheels?I thought these wheels are specific to my car per manufacturer,anyways iam getting vibrations and I was advise by the bmw tech that it needed it.argued for a little bit but after they put one for testing purpose no vibrations.rings on the way just wondering
if anybody running em or not?
