I have a 530i. The steering wheel became noisy when turned with about 1000 miles on the car. The dealer replaced the slip ring. The wheel was quiet for about three weeks but the noisiness has returned. Any one with similar experiences?

When I turn the music off I can hear a noise coming from my steering wheel. But it's not very loud. It sounds like it needs some WD-40... Anyways, I usually listen to music and have it louder than the noise is...

I have steering wheel noise as well. At first I thought it was the tyres on the road but further investigation suggests otherwise. Its a kind off deep squel sound. I hope there isn't a problem with the power unit.
