[passing a warning!!!! dont press the BMW steering wheel emblem it will collaps inward.

Due to a bad construction you cant slam the horn because if you touch the emblem it will collapse inwards.

The emblem is made of beercan metal without support behind it ,there is free space and therefore no support so dont use the horn,,, incredible stupid construction!!

Anyone have experienced this please tell me how and if ypu got it fixed on the warranty?

I just noticed that one of the quadrants got a depression. If you press hard it sinks. KNN.

How did you or your dealer handle this situation?

to all .... my emblem has loosen completly and tomorrow I will try to get the dealer to recognize that there is a possibilty that there is a construction fault.

I cant accept that a brand like BMW has a emblem which collapses!

To be continued

Are you talking about the standard wheel or the "sport" wheel used on the SMG models in the U.S.?

It seems to me that the emblem would have to be light for sfety reasons. In the event of an airbag deloyment, the center of the steering wheel "explodes" with sudden force and speed. A heavy emblem would pose a serious hazard under those conditions.
