I have had my 2004 E60 for about two months, and I have noticed that the steering wheel drifts lower and lower over time when returning to the saved driving position during starting. I have had to re-adjust the steering height up about three times so far in two months. I am not suggesting this is something I would take in for service, but only wondering if any other E60 owners have noticed this behavior.

Never heard about it. In some conditions, I cannot specify exactly, but seldomly, my steering wheel does not come down in the memorized position, like forgeting it.
