Did anyone here experience this?
I was adjusting the steering wheel height / reach when all of a sudden I had the lever loose in my hand
I had to drive the car to work whith the steering wheen (Not fully locked in position). I called BMW Assistance and they were with me within 30 minutes and fixed it (Temporarily)
The engineer told me to book it in so they can replace the hinge for a stronger one and advised against adjusting the steering wheel till then.
Did this hapen to anyone here?
My car is an E60 530i M sport (so the sport steering wheel).
