Does anyone know the part number to this titanium trim on the steering wheel? I have 545 on order and I dont think it is standard on the wheel. Thanks advance for your help.

I have a 545i with Sport in the US and it does not have the titanium trim on the steering wheel. The wheel is all black.

I think that wheel is only on the SMG models in the US unfortunately, I like it better than the standard one... <_<

Wierd but I actually liked the standard uk wheel over the sport which I thought was a bit plasticy in the one I tried.

With heated steering wheel the standard one is about same thickness as the sport

Being tall, the slight reduction in diameter helped me adjust the wheel for comfort and full vision of the instruments, hence I went for it. Wheels are something BMW seem pretty good at, especially compared to some of the bus-sized Merc ones.

Crikey DD; shocked to see you write that!- the sport wheel ( love it - std one is so plastcky) caused a real difficulty in reading the top ( ie important bit) of the speedo - since the smaller diameter made it harder to look underneath it ( I'm 6 1")
