I have CPO 2008 528i , with 25k miles, i have observed that when i am driving on highways at 65mph, sometimes i feel slight vibration in steering, but it's not consistent?

Any suggestions ?

I'm pretty sure it's an unbalanced wheel or a bent wheel. My vote goes for the first choice.
Start by getting your all wheels balanced (in a road force machine if possible), and check the wheels for any wobble when spinning them.

If there's no visual damage on the wheels, you can re-balanced the wheels. It should help to solve the vibration in steering.

The most likely culprit is an unbalanced wheel or a slight misalignment of one or more of the wheels. I would say the unbalanced tire is the more likely cause. Go to a mavis tire and ask them if your tires needs balancing.

Do you have OEM wheels or aftermarket? How long have you had the car?

Most likely to be the wheels need balancing. I have known cars to have wheel wobble caused by worn suspension bushes too.

That's why i asked....Assuming you bought from a BMW dealer.....take it back to the tell them it isn't acceptable. You don't pay anything. If you're a succer they'll try to charge you $50 for a CPO deductible. Fight em off.

Whatever the case may be, fight for your rights. They delivered a car to you that doesn't meet your expectations yet meets BMW's? Unacceptable.

Its still under manufacturer's warranty and not under CPO yet, so they won't charge me for $50, but they might try to charge me for wheel balancing ...isnt it ?

i will try to fight for that, but any idea , how much that costs ?
