I recently had the steering rack replaced on my car (535d LCI with Active Steering)since this I now have a slight noise when turning the wheel to the 3 O'clock position it sounds like a very mute boing. Anyone else have this? it's not that noticable with the stereo on, and non existent when turning anticlockwise to 9 O'clock
The dealer filled the power steering resevoir as it was below the dipstick and claimed all was good, I don't think it's made any difference.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks

I do have a similiar noise coming out of the steering wheel, kinda like a muted grinding noise. It's the same thing that was fixed 2 yrs ago.
After reading my notes from the dealer, it looks like it was the rack-n-pinion. They performed a steering flush and procedure recommended from PUMA.
It worked ....until now!

Is this the fix that I should do, or check other options? Has anyone had any better results?
