"When I'm traveling on a road with uneven pavement, especially if it's rutted (not small grooves, but bigger ruts), the car seems to "hunt" for the right line to be on. Sometimes it makes it a little difficult to keep it in a straight line. I notice this only at in town speeds and not at highway speeds. It almost feels like I have flat tires. Anyone else experience this, or is it just me? "

Hi from Spain, I have an E60 525i with servotronic (no active) and run flat tires and I've noticed that too, the dealer says it's because of the tires and that nothing can be done ... except change the tires?

It may be worth checking with BMW direct.

I have a 530i with 18" wheels and Dunlop RunFlats. I too have complained about the car drifting to the left. I let go of the wheel, it moves anti-clockwise a few degrees and then the car drifts left. I've been told by the dealer that larger wheels and runflats can exhibit this tendency and I might have to live with it or change to normal tyres (don't know who would pay for that but I can guess). I have escalated to the service manager and await the outcome.
