i have a 06 525i that i bought salvaged and in bad condition. i built it up anbd did all the connections. now the car is almost complete but none of the steering electric controls work. all the connections have been properly done. does anyone know if there is some kind of reset or activation problem? please help because i need to finish this car asap.

check part # 1 ,, but this is an example only ,, use the same site . put your VIN number and you will be able to get the right part number for you car ..
