I had a faulty steering angle sensor and luckily the dealer had one in stock. I know a lot of people are waiting for parts to arrive to fix this issue.

Anyway, the dealer had the car since last Friday and although they had the part in hand, they had some issues applying the CIP update. Tonight went to pick-up my car and found that one of my wheels is curbed and that the driver's side door has a door ding . Called the dealer after the service department had closed and left message for the manager. We'll see what happens tomorrow when I talk to him. This all really sucks!

You really need to find a new dealership to take your car too!

Isn't there a dealership nearby that will offer you a loaner regardless if you bought your car there or not?

my faulty steering angle sensor was fixed. They forgot to active the adjustment steering wheel button.

I had a similar problem. They had the SZL sent from Germany, but when I picked it up the SA couldn't locate me in the computer, and when they finally did, I found a nice new black mark in front of the RF tire.

Another four day wait while they repaired their damage, but they did it free of charge including the loaner. It's sad when the dealer puts the first mark on your baby. Unfortunately, I'm in a one dealer town, but I made sure the survey call from BMWUSA clearly reflected my frustration.

Spoke to dealer and they will repair or replace what is necessary. Unfortunate to say the least.
