Just curious why the 7 series, 1 series and the new 3 series will all have the Start/Stop button on the dash, yet the 5 series and also the 6 series do not? Any ideas why or if this will be added to the 5 series eventually?

comfort access (keyless entry and start) will be available in the fall for the E60, but the start/stop on the 1 and 3 are not the same, in those instances the standard feature still requires a key(card) to be put into the dash(slot).. the E90 will have comfort access as an option but that wont be available until the fall as well, i assume the E63 will get this in the fall too
