Start/stop button in 2007 530i
Hey all,
Is the start/stop engine button standard on the 2007 530i? I wanted to have one with start/stop button but dont really need the comfort access, that's why I was wondering if the 2007 5-series has start/stop button as standard without have to buy for CA
Thanks

Yes I believe it is. I have it in by 2006 530xiT (Jan 2006 build) that was delivered in the USA ealier this year. I do not have comfort access.
Yup, Hopco's right - all '07 530i's come with start/stop buttons regardless of whether they have CA or not. Actually, I think all '07 5-series cars come with start/stop buttons.
As others have suggested, all 5-series cars should probably come with CA too, but it's still a $1K option.

My 06 with production date Jun 05 is the first series with the new gas R6 (N52) engine but CA was not available then. CA was added later in september of that year as an option - and I was not happy to find that out two months after my car was delivered!
Rgrds,
Rgrds,
I've previously tried and failed to ascertain what's actually been introduced in the US in any March that hadn't already been introduced the previous September elsewhere.
