My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
This pic of basic EU LCI seats do look fresh.

Would be about time for some better standard seats. The last acceptable standard seats were in my E34. After that I needed sporting seats in every BMW, because standard seat sucked!

Agree. I tested the standard E60 seat and had back-ache after the test drive, really not what you would expect from a car in this class. Good / satisfactory standard seats with the LCI would in my mind not be an improvement, but a fix!
Two weeks ago I did 850 miles in 16 hours with not more than an hour or two of stops.
Got out fresh as a daisy.................well nearly.
No problem with standard seats for me.
