Yep, thats the idea. You pull it very briefly to make the rear wheels loose side traction, which put the rear end of the car sideways. You then control the turn via the throttle.

I pulled only for a very short time and the car stalled.
The worst thing is that the servo assist for the active steering goes away. I could not turn my steering wheel at al.

Ya pulling it briefly... so I guess that means you locked the rear wheels right? I guess SMG isnt smart to apply the clutch when you do that?

No more real snow here to try this out again. Obviously, SMG isn't smart enough.
