HI I am new to the forum, Would like your help. I know you guys touch base on this but I have a 2007 525xi with staggered and I had to change the rear rims because my DTC kept on coming on Do you know if this was due to the tire size or because right now i am driving with my oem rims and do not get the DTC error message , send back the rear rims waiting for the new rear to arrive which are going to be the same as the front, Please help I would like to have the staggered fitment instead as the car will look ridiculous with the same all around the e60, would like to get this issue resolve before they send the new rims if I could I change it before being shipped, thanks. if you need to post this shit up please do. I dont have the exact tire fitment for the rear as they were ship out but tomorrow will get the tire size.

What size were your tires? I have staggered on my XI and don't have any problems with DTC. The overall diameter front to back should be as close as possible.

I will try to find out by the end of this afternoon but what are your tire sizes as I may check with the tire shop before they ship out, and also check the diameter on the wheels as I know there are ET 55 in the rear.

Why would you think a 525xi would look ridiculous with the same size wheels on the car??

Hey guys i have the tire size which I had in the front 225/30/20 and in the rear 255/30/20, so you guy think the tire size may have something to do with DTC coming on my dash, as of now with the oem rims it's not happening at all.
