Default Stabilizer Bar...fluid sweat??

took the shield that covers under the engine and i discovered this.Should i be worrying?

Clean it up and see if its leaking from the boot or from the fitting . Mine was leaking and alls i did was tighten the fittings some, and the leak stopped so far it hasnt leaked again .

try tightening the hydraulic lines going into it.
mine has been "wet" for 50k miles now and has not gotten any worse.

Mine is "wet" all the time as well. Does not leak enough to bother fixing. Tightening the line fittings did not solve the problem. I think this issue is fairly common.

Also keep an eye on your PS fluid level as the sway bar shares fluid with the steering rack (use only CHF11S if the cap is so marked).

Mine also "sweats" and I have searched for shops that will overhaul them like a steering rack but have yet to find one. I think ZF has a factory overhaul facility in Illinois, but as far as I know only deals through BMW dealers.
