Same as 530E60NL. When the car is cold, crunching noise going over speed bumps until the shocks warm up then it does not do it any more.

My car is pretty much standard, only extras are PDC and sunroof.

Have mentioned it to the dealer but no fix yet.

 

Me too! It was about -20C in here few days and when front dives deep at pump I could hear that scraping sound from right front corner. I had time and I tested it couple of times and steped out to see if there was snow or something else. I found nothing neither they found nothing in service yesterday. But could not hear the voice either. BTW it's only -6C outside anymore.

I also get the sound. Sounds like a car with 50,000 miles that needs new struts.

I'm near Chicago and it's very cold. I've yet to drive the car in warm weather...

 

I suppose the cold temperature theory might be true, as I didn't experience it during summer.
Just wondering if there's a TIS out for it?

 

I mentioned it to my dealer and they said they could find no problems. Then again if you drove over them bodily whilst they lay on the floor they still would say they couldn't hear anything.
