I very raley use my AC until today pretty hot in Va with the windows fully up on purpose i drove around and did not hear any noises until i tuened on the AC and it got pretty cold in the car after this i noticed the creeking noises so seemingly in my case it is contibuted to by the AC has anyone else noticed this will try this senerio again later today to see it it duplicates itself.
I wouldn't recommend driving with the a/c compressor off tbh. The a/c fluid is self-lubricating and stops the seals from cracking etc. over time. Running the climate control constantly means better reliability in the long-term.
