two possibility

1. theres moisture stuck between rotors and break

2. your break pad sensor is worn out and touching the rotor...

try to do hard break...

drive like 50mph and stops with good solid breaking... no pump break... make sure no one is behind you...

probably moisture got stuck between rotor and break pads... this can help it....

Is it still under warranty? If so go back to the dealer and try to get it remedied. Sometimes BMW would come up with a different pad compound to fix brake squeak, but the most common repair was to remove the brake pads, clean all the contact points on the brake caliper and bracket. Then apply a small amount of copper grease to the tabs of the brake pad that contact the brake caliper and the caliper bracket.

Sorry, how many miles on the car as well? could be that they are to the point of replacement as someone previously mentioned. BMW brakes don't last very long, especially if you do a lot of stop and go. I once had a e-46 3 series come in that needed front pads and rotors at 10,000 miles. They did a lot of driving in New York City

It depends on how many miles you have, but if it's fairly new then take out the pads and apply some brake quiet.

This is what I use on my customer cars.
