A few weeks back someone posted a topic regarding the squeaking noise coming from the doors; well, I had that problem and got it fixed at Braman Miami. There was a service information bulletin issued by BMW dated January 2008 and the correction is as follows:

"Movement between the flocking material on the upper door seal and the surrounding roof panel may produce squeaking noises, if a customer complaint, replace all 4 upper door seals with the improved parts. Prepare surface and apply Teflon Tape."

Please note that according to the warranty information this is covered under new vehicle limited warranty. If you are out of your manufacturer warranty, please PM me with your information and I will scan bulletin (with pictures). Do it yourself cost $40. I would rather not post their internal information, but will gladly provide the info if you have this problem. It is very annoying so I can relay to what you are going thru...
