If you planing to get something fixed on the car, I would take it out before you go to the dealers or they have a change to say you installed something that has broken it and need you to pay for it to be fixed

I had it removed and probably forever as twice it failed on me with 27 ton lorries behind me. And more and more I am hearing blokes getting hard starts or limp home modes. sigh.... how nice would it be if its problem free.

I've had my SB on for a while now with no issues, I don't take it out when I go to the dealer and they have never said anyting about it. Like others have said unless they can prove to you that the SB or any other mod for that matter is the direct cause of any failure they cannot refuse you warranty.

limp home mode only happens if you floor hard it with very little fuel left.

the BMW master computer will log every new "plug in" mod, that applies
to led lights, SB etc,.
don't worry, unless the boss of your dealership has lost all his money on stocks, they won't bother
you

you dont need to take anything out of your car unless you know that bmw is going to hook your car up to the computer..
i dont have a sprint booster but I used to have the split second turbo tuner and whenever i took the car to bmw i told them not to hook the car up to the computer because thats the only way that the warranty is f***ed, cuz once its connected its flagged and your screwed but if they dont hook the car up your fine..
btw to all of you who do have the sprint booster can you tell me how it could make a difference to my car and if it wont ruin my dinan software thanks
