I took mine out in fear of a breakdown and subsequent dealership intervention.
I cannot afford to lose my warranty.

If you have a problem, just take it out prior to the "dealership intervention". I'm an Ole Miss grad BTW. Hope all is well in OS.

I haven't had my SB very long, thus no dealership experience. At first I was told to remove it, then later, Dave (Flyingpuck) said he's taken his in various times with the SB and no one has said anything.

I like my avatar if others are offended they need to think about the breasts and asses they have wiggling in their avatar.
I fear breaking down at night ,having to call roadside assistance, and me trying to get the sprintbooster out. I do not want to be resposible for a transmission, throttle body, or computer because they find a sprintbooster. I know BMW NA watches this forum. I have had them contact me about problems I wrote about in here about my previous e60. WHo is to say they do not flag who has sprintboosters. too?

Well, that's sufficiently creepy.

+1000

Those avatars are inappropriate, and you might want to read this:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=918918

Just because some are not abiding by Lomag's rules doesn't make it right. I think Mark should have made this a sticky so all were clear on this subject.

If SB isn't causing any problem there is no need to be alarmed. BMW will only void warranty if it's a result of aftermarket modification.
If something is wrong and can be attributed to the SB, simply take it off. No one will know you had it. Unless it's in your sig .
