No, that's the M(anual) mode... DS usually starts from 1st (Depending on your driving style

[/quote]Manual starts in 1 or 2, depending on what you've choosen with +/- M1/M2.
DS starts in 1. When you slide the stick into DS mode its DS until you've used +/-, then its manual.

DS for me is quite nice, i took down a probably unmodded <94 Mustang LX 5.0 and an unmodded <99 Mustang GT. 
I just had to, on the Gowanus they were weaving in and out of traffic and got TOO close to me.
Why i'm posting it here? Beats me!
