I've seen pictures showing the sport and se models, I can see how the sport model looks sportier, apart from one thing. The rear of the SE looks a lot more sporty and interesting to me. Anybody agree?

The sport looks to rounded to me, on a car where most of its lines are sharp.

Yeah, i do like the sideskirts and the front bumper on the sport model though. Anybody know what is the cost of just the front bumper and side skirts in the UK? Already painted and holes cut? Are they even available yet?

My Ride: no longer driving an E60.
I drive a E92 335i now
Sorry don't agree.
I just love the sportpackage, I think just the roundings in the M-package make the car look great, in contrary with other 'spoiler kits' wich are very sharp. Also I don't like the reflectors in the rear-bumper on the standard E60.
Just my personal opinion.

The sports setup has to do also with aerodynamics - thus the more round up effect in the rear bumper. Side skirts fill the aerodynamic footprint of the tires better and also the front bumper is better suited.
I agree, I like the front sports bumper ( as well ) and side skirts...less the rear sports bumper.
It's personal. If the sports package does it for someone - he should go for it!!
Me, although I don't think I would consider the sports package, I would definately consider the 135 rims..would look very nice on my car.

I followed a black 535 D sport through Slough the other evening...It looked impressive from all angles - but I'm unsure about this dechroming thing !
I agree with a post above that said the std bumper looks nearly as good as the sport one.
I think the wheels on the sport are fabulous though and wish I could have them on mine ( anyone want a set of part worn 124 style?
) .

My Ride: 535d Sport Carbon Black/Black Leather
Media Pack,Visibility Pack,Through Load,Logic 7,Electric Seats,Sun Protection Glass,Maple Wood,Lumbar Adj,Heated Seats,Folding Mirrors
I prefere the Sport read bumper as I think it has cleaner lines....but then I'm biased as I pick my 535d Sport up next week! The dealer told me that they have sold 10 535d's so far of which nine have been the Sport model.

That doesn't surprise me about 9/10 535d's are you garage being sport models. My dad has ordered a 530d, should be here in a month. He didn't need the extra power the 535d gave, people who want the 535d want it sporty, hence buying the sport package
