Twice this week end, I returned to my locked car with the radio playing and the iDrive Accept Screen booted -- once on Saturday morning and again on Sunday. Each time, I was accessing stuff in the trunk when I heard music playing. Closer inspection proved it to me my very own E60. This happened to me once before with ver 11.3.
Interestingly enough, it was the same exact location for one of the 13.3 instances as the 11.3 incident. The other 13.3 incident was maybe 50 yards away. You think that locale might be haunted?

Interesting...
I wonder if there's some radio interference in that location. In my E39, I found that I couldn't lock my car using the remote while parked in a driveway of a photographer's studio. The studio was right next door to a radio station tower. I thought it was a fluke the first time it happened but I returned to the studio many times in both my '98 and my '01 540 and every time I was parked in that driveway, I couldn't lock the car with the remote.

Radio interference is a nightmare.
One of my clients owns the biggest radio transmitter in the UK (If you're UK based, you can see it from about Jcn 30 of the M1, out to the West). That transmitter used to cause a load of grief on two ofmy past cars (I'ver not been there in my BMW yet).
Problems included....
Auto wipers refusing to work
Engine light coming on
Locks not working
Alarm activating randomly
CD player and radio not working.
A Vauxhall I had refused to start pointblank one day. A tow half a mile down the road cured the issue.
All this happened whill I was within about 250 meters of the mast.
Radio interference causes all sorts of havoc with electonic equipment - that's why we cant use mobile phones in hospitals.
Hope this helps!!
PS: Just thinking about this - when my I-Drive locked up and my stereo went beserk in my E60 back in June, I was less than a quarter of a mile from the huge transmitter at Membury on the M4.....mmmmm....have we stumbled upon somthing here???

little bit off topic, ... but at home on my computers's external speakers i can hear a radio station that i cannot even pick up outside in any car, or on any radio. about 5-10 miles away from my house i can pick it up ..... and the speakers will only play it when the computer is off, and the volume of the speakers is down to zero. lol. weird. if you turn up the volume it won't play it. this is all while the speaker cable is plugged into the computer, but computer is turned off.

Well how 'bout this. I'm in a parking lot the other day. I leave my car, lock it with the remote and "started" the Honda next to me. Apparently the automatic start must have been on the same frequency. What are the odds???
