Spin noise while driving, from rear-tire, bearing, diff or something else

Just to add, when driving on highway slight turns to the right it becomes louder, slight turns to the left the noise is almost gone.
Can this still be related to differential ?

I guess it could be. This is where it would pay off to have a remote "stethoscope" to listen to the diff and each knuckle (which contain the wheel bearings) to see who the guilty party really is.

It was a wheel bearing (rear left).
Replaced with new part and noise is gone.

A much happier outcome than replacing the differential (which is why it's always good to diagnose your own issues rather than blindly trusting the shop). ;-)

Just for future reference, the clue was the noise changing when going around sharp curves. That's a classic wheel bearing symptom.
