I noticed that Palmo has tried this on his 530d in a recent thread on 525d vs 530d electronics.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried this especially on a 535d or has any comments...very tempted to give it a go rather than a DMS remap.
What about the partical filter how does one of these affect it?

I did have a box on mine and worked very well. I have not tried Spider but they have a very good rep. DMS are far to expsnsive. Try Evolve.

DPF is always the worry with a box & the gearbox as the toruqe comes in so quickly.

I've got a remap and it gives more peace of mind than a box. I've also experimented with a box too and find the power delivery is like Paul said, comes in lower with a wallop of torque!

Also agree that DMS are ??? and there's plenty of alternatives that are just as good. This is my 4th car that I've had remapped and have had no issues with any of them.
