130 on the motorway I didn't quite double it so I reckon I was OK . On motorways they use unmarked cars with videorecording equipment but I usually know what to look out for. The traffic police are usually manning radar traps in built up areas on normal roads where the limit is 50 or 70.

260 kph is max what can be seen on odo because it's electronical. Old speedos was based to magnets and could round up to the needle under zero. 260 is top in dash, but we know difference!!

I'm still not certain. Well why then some get 260 and some 255 or 258? Isn't there the same spedo? Isn't the same limiter? And if most of us are limited at 255 or so and the real speed (shown by gps or measuring devices) is lower doesn't that mean that in fact we are limited at under 250km/h?

Just for clarity's sake in my case I didn't hit a speed limiter. In fact it was the speed limiter sitting in the passenger seat that almost hit me when she saw the speedo

That limiter hits me always when speed is over road limit!

BetterMakeWay, I mean that electronical speedo can not show speeds over 260 kph. Why some have actual speedlimiter hitting in 255 or something else is because tolerances of difference parts, tyre sizes, etc.
