If you are like me... I keep raising it since is seems to go off too often. I can't believe how easy it is to go 100+ with no effort.

Probably an easy question to answer, but I'm lazy to look at the manual
How do you set/turn off the speed limit alarm? When I bought the car it was set at 55mph. Although it doesn't bother me too much (my wife likes the chime), I would like to set it higher or maybe turn it off
Thanks.

Mine used to be @ 135km/hr then 140km/hr for cruising speed, but the traffic on most of our roads rarely allow constant cruising so the thing was going off every time I rebuilt speed.
Hence now it is off!

Best deal I have found is to turn it off and drive like I feel with V1 protection.

I used to have it set at 80 mph a long time ago but found it going off all the time so I bumped it up to 90. It still goes off but not nearly as often. I think between 80 - 90 mph is normal cruising speed for me. I tend not to go faster unless the road is more open which would allow me to do so

When I first got the car, it was pre-set on 110 km/hr and the first time it went off I jumped and then giggled like a schoolgirl. My wife, who was in the car with me at the time, reckons its the only time I've been happy with being told to slow down.
That was then, this is now and the damn thing stays OFF.
