it might be a bad wire or loose connection.. check the amp in the trunk to see if you still have good connections... but becareful .. fiberoptic cable can hunt you down bigtime. Just go to dealer

What's the source?
If it's radio, and not balance, hmmmm.
Note, I had this happen when I plugged my ipod in. The wire harness was not seated correctly. Check the contacts. I had to unplug/replug and it fixed the problem.
