couple days ago I was looking under the dash on the drivers side and noticed theres a speaker grill above the brake pedal under the dash, was wondering does anyone else have it? I dont have logic 7 and was under the impression I had a 10 speaker system but this makes 11 if Im not mistaken? Also I thought the positioning of the speakers was 2 in each of the front doors for 4 speakers, 2 each on the left and right side of the back for another 4, and the 2 subs for a total of 10 speakers! or is there another under the passanger side lower foorwell also? Never got to check so Im not sure?

Thats a pretty big speaker for a chime......interesting! So for people wanting to get rid of the chime I guess just disconnect the speaker......also I guess this also plays the noise for the seatbelt not being buckled?

Your all wrong!!!, thats the emergency speaker, if the car is involved in a very serious accident the TCU (telematics control unit) and this speaker are switched to a separate power supply so that you can still speak to the emergency services and or BMW assist
Guys do some research pls.
