Those were mine...and yes...they were nasty at 70K!!!!

What I find disturbing is that ROW cars call for 100K KILOMETERS which DOES NOT equal to 100K Miles. These guys amaze me. I changed mine on another I6 BMW at 96K and the plugs looked pretty good. The originals were Bosch but I put in NGK. I did not notice any difference in the performance from the changes.
Not sure which interval to follow, ROW or US. If ROW, then 100K Kilometers equals to 60K miles.

Ummm... I would I would definitely change them at 60 or before.
I plan on changing mine at 40,000

my car is 2004, it has about 21K should I change them?

Just my opnion, but its not a wear item where age is as much a factor as useage. If it was something that is rubber that detriorates over time, I would say, hold off.

how about the fuel filter? do you have yours replaced?

BMW does not call for any fuel filter replacement if I am correct. I changed one on my E46 at 98k. It all depends, how anal you want to be. I prefer running a can of Techron every month or two to keep the fuel system clean. Fuel filters used to be 60k items but with these new cars, who knows...

the fuel filter at 98k I think thats to much.. But I don't know on this one, maybe some one else can help on this one..
