I know the idrive says 100,000 miles before spark plug replacement, that just like the oil change intervals seems very long on the tooth.

With that said I have hit the 54000 mark on my 04 530 and on a couple of occasions I have thought I felt a stumble or slight hesistation, have any of you guys replaced plugs and or wires or coils before the recommended service interval?

If so what plugs did you replace with and did it improve any minor issues ie gas milage or acceleration or idleing smoothness
