N52, yes: VC gasket plus seals.
N54 (mine): just VC gasket, no separate plug seals.

Relatively easy job, just lots and lots of dismantling of covers and other bits to get down to the VC itself.

And they say you should fit new aluminium bolts when changing the VC gasket set. Other 'they's' say you can re-use the aluminium bolts. Take a chance?

That is your choice to make. I reused mine 50k ago with no issues. Are you suppose to change aluminum bolts when removed, Yes you are. They are cheap so why not I just did not have them on hand when I needed them.
