In the US, when you order the Sport Package the tires are upgraded to run-flats with a space saver spare (under the trunk carpet). Frankly, I don't see why one needs a spare with run-flats. When I checked out the trunk of a 530 with run-flats in a Munch showroom, there was no spare but instead a kind of handy organizer under the carpet to store whatever.

What are other's opinions on the usefulness of carrying a spare when the car is equipped with run-flats?.

yes its ridiculous to still carry a spare when u got run-flats. however i have gotten some feedback on the extra noise it puts out when compared to normal ones. what do u guys think?

In Canada, we dont get spare tires if we order the car with sport pack... also we get the sport version of steering wheel with the sport pack.....
guess the Canadian model spec is more close to the European model...

here is singapore i heard from PML service advisor the run flat cost about S$500 a piece to replace and when it punctures they recommend replacing with new rather than normally patch up repair. No repair for run flat ....Arghhh!
