spare key- anybody hide theirs on the car somewhere?

I learned this the hard way. I had a Prius with their 'comfort access' RFID system. I hid my key in the bumper but it was close enough to the transponder that if anyone pulled on the rear door latch the alarm would be disabled and the car would magically unlock. D'oh! I had to remember to wrap it in foil.

the last thing a thief is going to do is crawl around hoping to find a key that probably doesnt exist on most cars.
