How's this 1 Pennetta( u should like it).....I was building and restoring corvettes and GM muscle cars for fun and $$ but one of the main reasons I started with BMW's was because back in the old days, was because myself and a friend of mine turbocharged his 320i. only 5 lbs of boost and no intercooler....well after we blew the clutch and rear diff out from under it from all the extra power....(we had No clue)...the car was a monster for its time and a blast to drive!!!

 

Thats great to hear, your a real car guy. I've built cars and motorcycles and used to race them at Bridgehampton race track on the east end of Long Island. It was a 3 mile road course with lots of changes in elevation and great views of the Peconic. Its now agolf course, a great one, but still a golf course. I still run Formula 2000 cars at Pocono raceway in PA.

 

Is he implying that your rear diff may fall out of your car soon???

 

If it does it's a consequential component failure, so I am covered under my 4yr/50k mile warranty.

 

I've been there myself, FF and 2000; open wheelers...humbling when you start isn't it..

 

I've raced a lot over the years but in my own cars, the hardest part for me is the non-synco'd trannys. But great great fun!
Not bad at Grand View after either.

 

now that bmw has v8's other then the m5 everyones all about v8's. but when they didnt have v8's they were all "gas guzzlers" who wants a v8 lol. posers
