Lots of work and lots of $$$$$$, and so far, no one have reported success in retrofitting the L7 on standard sound cars. But dealers in Thailand have claimed to be able to do it, but I'm sure that doesn't help you much, but it might if you're in Thailand. Please post your location.

If you are looking after a high-end audio, I'd better go directly to the GOOD aftermarket installer (but only the one who knows E60' electronics and fiberoptics) - then you may end up with much better audio than L7 for possibly less money.
