My Ride: 2005 525i: Premium PKG, Automatic, Cold Weather PKG, Xenon Headlights, Sat Prep;
It is my understanding that Logic 7 is a Harman Kardon product. Is that true? Also, who makes the "standard" sound system for US E60s?

Opt for the Logic 7, the Standard system is terrible!!!
My business partner and I both have 530Ds, both were ex demo cars, so both have a mixture of different options, he has Logic 7 and I have the Hifi upgrade, the difference is massive.
My next BMW WILL HAVE LOGIC 7.

Thanks for the responses! I already am in possesion of my '05 525 with the standard stereo (here in the US) and was just curious as to who was the manufacturer of it. Was it also made by Harmon Kardon?
To be honest with you, $1800 can purchase a lot of stereo upgrade for my home audio/HT setup where I spend much more of my time. Even if I had considered going that route at the time of purchase is the general consensus that the Logic 7 for $1800 more provide as much value as that amount of money redirected at home audio/HT could provide?
