Never heard of Nitto tires neither.
This is why I always go with OEM wheels and quality tires.

where is the vibration comming from steering wheel or seat of the pants? steering wheel indicates front wheels seat of the pants indicates rear.
Also could be a bent rim or bad rotor. i would find a old skilled mechanic with one the those old machines that slide under the tire and balance them on the car.
Why very hard to find these guys anymore we have one in Va and I used to use him to balance my wheels on my 240 sx no matter what tire or rim was on the car had a vibration in the steering wheel, balanced on the car and worked great

One positive note..... the 20's ride way better than the 18" run flats.
I purchased a '04 CPO now have 65K on it. I had a vibration that came from two places. 1. rotors on front 2. thrust bushings
Apparently thrust bushings are common to wear at that mileage and one idication is a vibration at above 45mph and exacerbated when applying brakes. Both thrust bushings and rotors replaced took care of my problem.
Also can you respond back with how many weights you see on each rim? Are they adhesive or rim weights? I am curious on the compensation amounts.

You're problem is probably the hub centric rings. I've spoken with a couple of tire dealers and they all say you'll never be able to balance out wheels with hubcentric rings. If you can balance it, the balance wont hold for very long either way.

I have read your post and think that you are saying that you can consistently duplicate, but at above 60 and that it may not happen all the time, just depends on road and length of drive time.
Question: at 60mph or so and the car is smooth driving, accelerate hard and coast back to starting mph. Does the vibration kick in, become worse or goes away or no-change.
Before my thrust bushings were changed I did notice that on a hard accelleration that I would sometimes pick up a vibration. It has not happened since having the thrust bushings replaced. The bushings themselves are not expensive, like 100 bucks for the set. Its the labor, like 4 hours.
I hate vibrations and I have gone to great lengths to eliminate in past cars and current 545i.
have they dismounted your tires to ensure no object is inside or that condensation hasn't built up from a bad water separtor from a air compressor?
