My buddy and I made our annual trek to the Auto Show tonight....Couple random thoughts to share..

1) Jag XK & XF were just stunning...Especially the XK! Would really have to consider leasing one someday

2). What's going to happen to Jeep, Buick, Saab, Saturn and Chrysler?

3). Damn that Audi S5 is a beauty and a beast!! On the short list again when the current lease expires

4). Honda & Toyota have become soooooo boring

5). Damn the Benz CLS and CL's are beautiful

6). Acura TL -- didn't ring the bell for me - kind of odd looking. Comes loaded, but still a lot of $$$ for a Honda

7). I'm still drawn to that darn M3

8). Was very impressed by the styling, fit and finish of some of the new Ford vehicles -- especially the Fusion...A lot of value for the $$

9). Volkswagon pricing is just ridiculous

10). The E60 is still one of the best mixes of lux, sport and snort out there!!

You're right on the Jaguar XF. Before I got my 550 I test drove a XF Supercharged (420 bhp) and it was impressive. Power felt stronger than 550i (it should be with a 60 bhp advantage), interior looked beautifully made and well put together and handling was good. But as good as it felt, the handling did not feel as sharp as the 550 and I'm a BMW person (when I can afford the one I want). The proposed lease payment would have been about the same as my 550.

I could not fault someone for getting a Jaguar XF Supercharged. It is a very nice car and I can see why it has been winning many of the recent comparison tests run by the auto mags. But it's just not the one for me.

I do like the Acura TL, but like you said too pricey for a Honda...
