As reported in my sig, I moved from a 2000 540i to the '04 545i. The comfort seats, and headrests in the '04 are at least as comfortable, if not more so. The cabin looks a bit cleaner from the drivers perspective in the '04. There are only two things I can think of that I preferred on the '00...

1) the coolant temperature guage, and,
2) 1" (I think) smaller in width

She handles every bit as well as the '00 did, if not better. I was in love before and I'm in love again. Who could ask for more!
