Shot with Nikon D60 on tripod
The legs can't be very long on your tripod

The car looks great! i love the tinted tail lights! i recently bought some tail light tint covers for mine...but they do not fit at all...where did you get yours? or if you are using the tint...how did you get it to go on so smooth?
As for the tailights, I had them sprayed with some black and then cleared them with automotive clear. That is why they are so smooth unlike the films that stick over them. Unfortunately they are permanent, but I really like it and it last a long time. Most bodyshops can do it for you at a relatively at a good price. Thanks for your comment though.

What better than to find a perfect empty road on a clear warm night to test out the new camera for such a willing subject! Shot with Nikon D60 on tripod in manual mode with remote shutter release.

Thanks for sharing! Our cars are twins - TS 545i's, but are camera's are enemies - I shoot with a Canon 40D.

The Nikon D60 is a great camera and good work on using your tripod. I'm surprised how many try to capture manual low light photos without a tripod - then think the camera was out of focus. I did a similar photo-shoot recently, but didn't have nearly as nice a backdrop! I unfortunately did not have a wide-angle lens and was forced to shoot with my 28-135mm.

Again, great work and please continue to share pics.
