Some Questions About my New 550i

Hello everyone as you can see this is my first post, i just bought a brand new 550i (my first 5 series) and so far love it.
Its gone back to the dealer for some RECALLS (they were too busy around the delivery day)
Here are some questions I asked BMW but couldn't get a good enough answer, hopefully some of you experts can:
Using Ipod all the lists reset to begining (A) for example: Ipod>>Artist>>Kanye>.....when i go back the whole list resets to A...so now i have to go back to K and onwards...is that normal?
Can HUD be adjusted through Idrive? Vertical angle? I only found brightness control.
Does navigation show ICONS ? like Gas stations, ATM..etc ? or is that feature in 2009? I have the latest North American DVD.
BMW rep called and said they need the car for another day due to software upgrades may be all these issues will be fixed or may be not...
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the frustration as a new BMW owner. I've never had problems.
iPod... try rebooting your iPod. I've had problems like that before. Usually is iPod related not the car.
HUD, no clue.
Icons... yes. I have them I my '08. You need to search through "Information" search for gas stations, and they'll show up.

My Ride: 550i 2009 Mod. with tints all around. Got Splitter and Spoiler coming. May do an exhaust.

Just an update:
Car is still at BMW service center since tuesday, apparently they're having trouble with software. Also BMW assist not working BMW ASSIST person can't see the location of the car. Service center is having trouble fixing it so they have opened a case with BMW and waiting for their reply.
Also they had to do some recalls, one of them retro fitting a ground cable.
HUD was a bit low so they adjusted that using their computer, apparently adjusting trough idrive is only available in 2009 models.
Hopefully they can fix this thing soon.....100K car (cdn) owned it for 2 weeks.....drove it 300kms....hope they dont tear this thing apart.
Any of you guys had issues with software??
BTW this car has been parked in the showroom for over a year, someone made a mistake ordering a wrong color (deep sea metallic with creme beige)
Plus it came WITHOUT the M-package so there were no takers, they gave me 30K off the list, brand new 550 68K cdn NOT BAD IF IT WORKS...lol

Got the car from "The BMW Store" in vancouver but now its at Auto West BMW in Richmond BC. I'm a long time customer at Auto West and i'm sure they will take care of everything.
