Some Blue Liquid on my Garage floor.

Hi I just noticed that there was some blue-greenish liquid on the floor of the garage. Not a lot just a few blobs. I was just wandering what it is?
It was a very faint smell of chlorine.

Did u check 2 c if it was leaking from that canister to the left, it might b pentosin hydr.fluid.

Did you recently fill your windshield wiper fluid? Antifreeze would have a sweet smell to it, that's why dogs like drinking it only to die later...

The substance was a oily. So I do not think it was washer fluid. Could it be hydraulic fluid?
Is the active steering fluid blue? The dealer topped it off all the way when I still had the steering knock. Could it be from an overflow valve or something?

In my past BMWs [e32 / e38] radiators and reserve tanks were considered routine replacement items ... every 50K miles.
It's one of the many features BMW built in to their most expensive vehicles

Description and location = coolant. You should have that inspected ASAP. For starters, when engine is COLD ... verify coolant level. If low, that is dead tip-off. Plastic Radiators and reserve tanks are problem areas for 7 series V-8s; they develop small, barely visible cracks. e60 cooling systems may have the same problems.
