Default Solenoids, zip kit, or both? 6hp19

So I have the e clutch fault when shifting from 4-5 or 5-6 while the car is warmed up. I have a feeling that the valve body or solenoids won't fix it but I guess it's worth a try. Has anyone has the 4F8A or 4F85 fault and fixed it with new solenoids and kip kit? The other option is tearing the transmission apart and replacing the stator bushing, which i'm told is the main reason for this issue.

Have you looked in the DIY section. There is an extensive thread covering transmission faults and how each individual fixed it
