Hi Y'all,
In my 04 545i w/NAV I had about 4 occasions where the dealer did a sotware upgrade.
Each upgrade seemed to cure very few problems and create a few new ones.
Now I have my 05 545i w/NAV, 2 months old; with its original version 13.3.
I understand that version 15 is out or will be out soon. My dealer says he has no information on it.
Question: Does ANYONE know definitively what Version 15 is supposed to fix?
And: Is there anything that it screws up?

BigArt, IIRC, no one knows what each version specifically changes. It has been mentioned several times that it would be nice if BMW NA would share that information. Also, I don't know of anyone that has V15. If they are out there, they will speak up, I'm sure. MY SA could not tell me what version they used in replacing my CCC. It could be V15. If it is, you do not want it.

Just had my 545 upgraded to v13.3 last week. That was the latest my dealer had (midwest USA). So far, no problems - but I didn't have any problems prior to the upgrade.
I went in for the emissions recall and had them program bluetooth as well. Everything is working just fine.
I asked my SA if BMW told them what each CIP version fixes or adds for features and he said nope. They just send the new CD and tell them to use that one.
