beemerfan, i thought my dealer is "outdated" but yours seems worse than mine . i have my 13.2 couple months ago and went down there again for my wood trim installed couple days ago. my dealer told me they are still using 13.3 now. i wonder why your dealer is still using 13.2 .

 

Anyone test SW Version 15 on a car with Navi and determine for sure if RDS works or not?

 

I have CIP 15.x with Nav and can confirm that RDS does NOT work

 

I have had software upgraded due to recall, since than i noticed the change on my screen.
I asked to a guy from service, he said something about RDS that I can turn it off and on. They said they going to take a look while my car is in a service but I guess they forgot. because I still dont see the letters or(words) that what FM I am listening. <_<
so.. does anyone know how do I turn this RDS thing on?

btw, I am new to the fourms, and just want to say "Hi" to my fellow E60'ers

urbo73 or Anyone else with Navi waiting for RDS - What did your dealer tell you when you told them that RDS still DOES NOT work for you with CIP 15.x? Did they get any updates from BMW on when this will be fixed or if they are even working on it?

My concern is that this might be low on the BMW E60 "must fix" bug list and we Navi owners might not have RDS for a long time.

as long as you dont have NAV, you can turn on RDS within iDrive...

I never told my dealer about RDS not working as I never thought to. So I don't know. For me RDS is not that big a deal, since 90% of the time I'm listening to Sirius , so that's why it wasn't on my mind to ask about it. I can just confirm it doesn't work.
