My car is due in for service in a few weeks and I am hesitant as to wether I should try to get an upgrade or not.
I don't have the perspective view in the Nav (Pro), which I really want, but on the other hand I don't want to risk loosing the led's or the "eyebrows", since they do so much for the look of the car.

Can anyone tell me which software version is the latest "safe" version = perspective nav view AND working led's & eyebrows??

i don't think you'll really risk losing either of them ... HOWEVER you may risk your iDrive getting slower to boot, as well as slower in menu responsiveness, and worse .. possible iDrive Crashes ... or freezes. which affect you directly .. unlike the optical eyebrows which would have no interference with your driving.

My Ride: 545i - ordered in January delivered April 21st! Black Sapphire Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Anthracite Maple.

I brought mine in to fix some iDrive issues and it didn't go well. They had it for 3 days - tried a a newer software version - it didn't take. They then tried a new processing unit - still didn't work. They told me to pick the car up because they ordered a new processor and radio unit?? Hopefully it will only take two trips...don't mess with it.
